Ask what each quote includes: musicians, performance time, PA, lighting, travel, setup, and music during breaks. Compare proposals for the same coverage so the differences are clear.
Watch a live performance.
Look for the vocals, repertoire, interaction, and presentation that fit your audience. Ask which lineup appears in the clip and which musicians and format are available for your date.
Walk through the practical details.
Share the performance-area dimensions, power locations, load-in route, parking, and house sound details. Discuss volume expectations, soundcheck time, and a suitable backup for outdoor plans.
Put the agreed details in writing.
Confirm the date, venue, lineup, set lengths, breaks, fee, equipment responsibilities, payment schedule, and cancellation arrangements. Name a venue contact for planning and show night.
Give guests and staff a clear plan.
Agree on promotional materials and posting responsibilities. Publish accurate show details, brief your team, and review the final schedule with the musicians before event day.

Explore vocals and keys, a solo performance with tracks, or a duo for more intimate rooms and dinner settings. Discuss the footprint and volume that work for your venue.
A fuller live sound.
Consider a trio or full band when live music is central to the evening. Confirm the instrumentation, stage space, and equipment before choosing the format.

Include the venue address, date, music start time, admission details, reservation link, and any age requirements. Keep those details consistent across your website and social posts.
Agree on approved photos and video.
Ask for suitable promotional assets and confirm how each side will share the show. A clear artist name, useful clip, and accurate details give guests something concrete to act on.
Brief the staff before doors.
Review set times, breaks, reservations, performance-area access, and the final music end time. Choose one staff contact who can coordinate timing or sound adjustments with the musicians.

Compare attendance, reservations, guest feedback, and staff observations with a similar night. Consider promotion, weather, competing events, and operating costs when deciding whether to repeat or adjust the format.

How much does it cost to book a live band?
The fee depends on the lineup, hours, location, equipment, and setup needs. Share your venue details and budget range so we can discuss options and prepare a quote for the agreed coverage.
How early should I check availability?

Can you use our in-house sound system?

What happens during band breaks?
DJ services and music between sets are included with Kameron Music. Agree on break timing, musical direction, and any announcements as part of your show plan.
Can you perform in a small room or outdoors?
Share your space dimensions and photos so we can discuss an appropriate lineup. Outdoor performances also need suitable power, cover, and an agreed weather backup.
Can we discuss a recurring live music night?
